Welcome to my little world, which I hope you'll like. My name is Ambre.

My fascination with jewelry started with my older brothers. Every birthday, they would give me a piece, always delicate, always well-chosen.
Very quickly, I understood that jewelry isn't just pretty; it's a testament to a special moment, to moments that will never be again, and to the intention of offering something meaningful.

I didn't go to jewelry school; I learned on my own and through hundreds of online tutorials. I started in Australia, where I spent 10 years. Testing, failing, starting over.
There, I created my first brand, Lubet Barbon, in homage to my great-grandmother. Strength and earth.

Before that, I had worked in audiovisual production in Paris, then in Australia in selling tools for jewelers, where I met some second fathers, my mentors (brilliant), who passed on to me the technical basics, rigor, and respect for the craft.

When I returned to France in 2024, the landing was complicated! Coming back to a country where I no longer felt truly legitimate, reconnecting with my old life which was no longer the same, and starting everything from scratch!

So I created Ancre-moi.

I draw inspiration from nature, symbols, civilizations that have left a palpable imprint, the wonderful people I meet everywhere, and this world which, despite all its imperfections, reminds me that we all have a place and beautiful things to accomplish.

I work 24/7 with music playing, in a rather organized chaos. I have a work companion named Poppy; he's the loudest meower I've ever met, rescued from a not-so-nice human, and he's been by my side for a few months now.
